I tend to the inner lives of parents so they can tend to the inner lives of their children.
I help parents of babies to teens in building, nurturing and repairing their relationship with their parent selves and with their child by tending to their parenting spirit, heart and mind. I offer a special focus on supporting mothers in their matrescence- their process of becoming a mother.
I provide support in 3 ways:
By focusing on healthy mindsets for navigating parenthood
By teaching strategies for putting connection and respect at the center of their parenting
By helping parents explore symbolic ways of Celebrating Fiercely and Grieving Fully their experience of parenthood
I am here to help with:
difficulty with the changing identity of being a parent
unresolved, difficult feelings about how conception, pregnancy, birth or the postpartum period unfolded
processing and honoring pregnancy loss of any kind
strategies for creating a warm, connected, satisfying relationship with your child
wanting to parent different than how you were parented
celebrating the joy of parenthood and the magnificence of your child
meaningful ways to mark the transitions in your parenting journey and the life of your child
